An antique Caucasian Karabagh Gallery carpet. Two large square medallions with faceted points nearly connect on the reduced buff field of this west Caucasian rug. Rosettes are scattered in the medallions and geometric tall pentagons (?) march along the side borders. Most Caucasian rugs are super colorful and geometric, but this one is restrained and geometric, rendering it versatile in modern settings which demand an old look, but not a lot of colors.
