Antique Central Asian Beshir Runner

A nomadic antique Ersari Beshir rug.  But red is the main color as it is generally in Central Asian rugs, Turkmen and non-Turkmen alike.  Six octagon guls (flowers) with central beige squares and spindly appendages totally fill the narrow field. The hexagons and double arrowheads in the border continue the abstract, non-representational effect.
