An antique Indian Agra rug. This is a totally weird Indian scatter with a nearly limbless central tree of life on a straw field surrounded by various birds and animals, including a tortoise, and set within an inner border of vultures, griffins, and hunting trophies of hares. A beige main border repeats colorful fowl while the outer stripe has grotesque pendant animal pelts. Definitely a conversation-starter scatter rug.
