Antique Persian Northwest Carpet

An antique Persian Northwest carpet. This attractive northwest Persian carpet displays nine rows of medium sized ‘Memling guls’ separated by narrow rows of smaller-brown , en suite devices. The detail hues include yellow, medium blue, ivory, rust, green and red-brown. The cream main border features a reversing turtle palmette and double straight vine pattern. Interesting combination of Caucasian field pattern and west Persian village borders.
