An antique Persian Sarouk Fereghan rug. From the late 19th century, this finely knotted scatter from the Arak weaving district has an ivory field carefully strewn with semi-realistic flowering vines, and which is centered by a large pointed and cusped navy medallion with a radiating flower pattern. The delicate flowers continue in the rose corners with their polychrome bead edgings.
