An antique Persian Tabriz Hagi Jalili rug. The grey-slate field has open lozenges, but no further Herati elements, but instead various, numerous slanted oval palmettes and the thinnest of straight, diagonal vines. The rust brown border displays complex palmettes and winged diagonal bud forms.
