Antique Persian Tabriz Hagi Jalili

An antique Persian Tabriz Hagi Jalili rug. Well and neatly woven in the “Hajji Jalili” style of the best Tabriz rugs of the later 19^th century, this scatter has layered ivory and rust ‘book cover’ medallion layout, within and ivory palmette main border with strip-style end sections. The cartouche-shaped rust subfield displays four flower sprouting vines developing from the enclosed pendant beige medallion.
