This high pile, nearly square Azilal-type rustic carpet show a five-echelon pattern with a dense central band of black and colored lines flowing together, while the flanking sections employ lighter squiggles or vein-like lines, all on the natural cream ground. The carpet is asymmetric left to right. The only true more or less straight lines are the three horizontals delimiting the sections. While the end sections are pure, the center panel mischievously mixes the red, green, and black flows randomly. Certainly, the weavers were left to themselves, and a fixed pattern was not followed. As new condition.
