A Wool pile with symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The straw field shows a noticeable abrash in the broad lower section, but the pattern remains homogeneous, featuring an offset array of four-lobed motifs that vaguely resemble the cruciform four-flower design common across the Middle East. As the side borders near, the motifs lose one of their projections. The side borders are plain rust-colored strips. The weave is moderate. The step in the abrash suggests the work of one weaver, though two or three likely completed the job. The carpet is in good condition.
