Vintage East Turkestan Pictorial Vase Khotan Rug

A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The coral-red to salmon-red field displays five horizontally arranged vases, some set on stands, each holding stylized floral and plant forms in ivory, warm cream, peach, apricot, burgundy, and dark brown. Between them are straight stems with chevron-shaped leaves. The ecru-to-warm-ivory main border features leafy chains of rosettes accented in coral, orange, burgundy, and dark brown.
