A vintage Indian Flatweave Kilim. Woven in a pileless tapestry technique, the basic decorative element is the sawtooth. It is found on the main nested half hexagons, on the smaller motives, on the end border strips, and on the golden-brown field with details in old ivory, dark blue, and green. Not a kilim, but similar in technique and looks like one. Makes a great face for a pillow cover.
