A vintage Persian Afshar rug. The straw field displays four rows of vases with peacock tail flower arrangements as well as other urns, detailed in dark red-brown and light blue-grey. The sienna brown border of this most unusual SE Persian tribal scatter rug features more, spindly vases and thick oblique leaves.
