Vintage Persian Gabbeh Rug

A vintage Persian Gabbeh rug. A central column of four nested diamonds especially accented in abrashed rust, cream, navy and dark blue dominate the field within a strong supporting cream zig-zag. The pattern runs off to triangular side fillers in red, royal blue and straw. The red main border displays “butterflies” and the cream inner border shows a mosaic of small squares.
