A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The pomegranate red field shows a layered diamond medallion composed of multiple small squares, positioned by larger lozenges and diagonals similarly composed and colored. Large corners get crazier with a boteh and an odd figure, and there is an odd intrusion from one side. Main bitonal reversing triangle border. Qashghai tribal work.
