A vintage Persian Hamadan rug. Somewhat in the Karaja (Karajeh) style, the abrashed lighter red ground features three serrated hexagons in dark brown and dark blue, each centering a hooked hexagon in sky blue. Stylized leavers, small geometric flowers and botehs are scattered about. Both narrow borders present tendrils with floating color bars. A versatile size and a warm overall palette on this west Persian village scatter.
