A vintage Persian Hamadan rug. Birds, quartered lozenges, simple flowers, and various small geometric devices are scattered around the stepped and abrashed light to pale blue cartouche medallion with a cream octagonal center on the buff ground. The border tonally matches the medallion and shows a dos-a-dos double bird module repeat.
