Vintage Persian Kashan Pictorial Rug

A vintage Persian Kashan Pictorial rug. The party has started as evidenced by the scene of traditionally dressed figures taking their leisure while a dancer levitates in ecstasy. Planets fill the starry royal blue sky which mirrors the dark blue carpet beneath the protagonists including a fluting musician.  The weave is city workshop fine and the image may have been taken from a Persian miniature painting. This is definitely a wall hanging rather than a floor piece.
