A vintage Persian Malayer rug. A visually dynamic textile-derived pattern of rows of tilted, elaborate, floriated botehs and vines fills the tan field of this attractive west Persian town scatter. The ivory border features double, twin flowers, tiny botehs and serrated stylized leaves. All in all, a different rug from a prolific weaving area.
