The elements of the Herati design have been extracted and re-arranged to form a tall pole medallion of fringed diamonds, and the leaves and rosettes have been relegated to fills along the sides. The design has essentially been atomized. Medium brown field. Light straw border with flattened, ragged pyramidal palmettes on a meander. Strip style. Cotton foundation, medium village weave.
