The Herati pattern is depicted here as a long chain of fringed diamonds, flanked by symmetrical arrays of bent leaves, smaller diamonds, rosettes, and palmettes, on the light blue-grey field. The straw-beige border features a broken vine supporting reversing ragged palmettes on stalks.
