A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Commonly seen on scatter rugs, this allover repeating pattern features color sampler squares, nested octagons, stars, and upright lozenges, all loosely connected by a few dark brown straight lines. The strip-style sand main border includes pyramidal fringed palmettes and small square color samplers, set beneath a beveled trapezoidal meander.
