A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Three strongly offset columns of large, ragged palmettes dominate the light slate grey field of this village piece, creating a strong unidirectional flow and movement. Rust accents highlight the serrated, straight leaves. The main border, in light slate blue-grey, features reversing fan palmettes.
