A vintage Persian Modernist Kilim. An ecru border with disjoint square spiral volutes frames the dark brown field with its “parquet floor” pattern of lateral herringbones and long, inclined central rectangles. This pileless, slitless tapestry woven carpet has a clear Moderne post-Art Deco flair with the border motives reminiscent of classical Greek design.
