Sorry, this item has been sold.

Looks more like a Senneh on the rectos (fronts) and also on the versos (backs) as well, but maybe from the edge of the Malayer area.  The abrashed slate fields each display a directional design of offset rows of small flame palmettes along with a scatter derived from the Herati design. Roughly executed reversing turtle borders. Well-woven on cotton, good condition
