Vintage Persian Shag Rug

A vintage Persian Shag rug. A true tribal rag rug composed of small fabric bits knotted onto the foundation like yarn, and showing a very long pile, with a double nested tall lozenge pattern in blue, ecru, black, red, orange, teal and sky blue.  At each end is a more disciplined, but still wildly colorful striped kilim strip in lemon, royal blue, ecru. red, orange-red and black.
