Wool pattern warps and wefts in a warp/weft-faced plainweave. In keeping with general tribal custom, this moj is composed of four pieces, presenting a plaid effect created through herringbone twill and plainweave structures. Squares in red, near black, and ecru are interspersed with others in mixed-tonality twill weave. The original band was likely about 22 feet in length. Now suitable as a wall hanging, cover, or wrapper, of Qashghai origin.
