Wool pattern warps and wefts on a warp- and weft-faced plainweave. This idiosyncratic four-panel nomadic weaving shows alternating dark blue and red bands, dissected by ecru lines into squares. There is minor offsetting throughout. It is not a true plaid, but the twill weave creates two closely related reds and two closely related dark blues. An outstanding large moj. Qashghai work.
