Wool pattern warps and wefts in a warp/weft-faced plainweave. The two outer panels are significantly, yet charmingly, offset from the central two sections. A classic Qashghai tribal plaid pattern appears in red, white, and dark blue, with associated twill and herringbone color mixtures. Originally part of a band approximately 23 feet long. The use of light-colored outer bands to form a border is unusual. Suitable as a wall hanging or cover.
