Wool pattern warps and wefts in a warp- and weft-faced plainweave. The simple tritone plaid moj pattern gives rise to a nearly infinite range of variants. Here, the horizontal stripes in the slightly rising, offset pattern appear in successive triples of ecru, red, and near black. A clear rhythm is established, moving up and to the right. Suitable as a wall hanging with subtle motion, or for use as a cover.
