Vintage Turkish Anatolian Accent Rug

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The strongly abrashed brown field harbors two columns, each composed of four adjoint stepped octagons uniformly enclosing X-shapes. Fat X-motifs with simple floral extensions serve as secondary décor. The palette is limited to brownish rust, bone beige, and brown. Borderless, and originally larger, with an overall softened tonality.
