Vintage Turkish Anatolian Gallery Carpet

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The field is rendered with an allover of tiny-scale dark brown and ecru lozenges, over which float two columns of four complete and two half nested, pendanted, abrashed stepped diamonds in ruby and beige. A very narrow border of closely set diagonal bars frames the piece.
