Vintage Turkish Anatolian Long Runner

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Exceptionally wide for a runner, this palace-sized piece presents a beige-khaki semi-open field with six vinery wreaths, each enclosing a tall lozengoid ivory medallion. The floral decoration throughout is rendered in a chunky, angular style. An ivory implicit inner surround expands at the corners, while the true main border features a hooked meander with pared-down floral motifs. Well suited to institutional, commercial, or residential settings.
