Vintage Turkish Anatolian Room Size Carpet

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The coral field is composed entirely of squares. A central panel with two squares enclosing Memling guls is flanked at each end by panels containing Aina gul rectangles. The similarly abrashed coral border features floating, hooked lozenges. Thick pile with a moderately tight weave.
