A vintage Turkish Anatolian rug. Two colors: red and sandy beige. A triple pointed tall plain red niche bends to a faceted apex near the top of the rug. No borders. No secondary decoration. Pure form and totally abstract. The abrash in the red area is subtle and keeps the plain section from being too flat and harsh. Striking graphic character.
