Vintage Turkish Anatolian Runner

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The pale wheat-beige to warm-ivory field is densely covered by an eight-part pole medallion composed of quartered lozenges with double stepped outlines in dusty rose, pale salmon, soft tan, muted olive-beige, and traces of light blue-grey. Similar half-lozenges extend inward from the sides. The border features faint divided-square motifs. The overall palette is exceptionally soft and subdued.
