A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The dark brown to near-black field displays a simple pole medallion composed of two connected rust-brown and reddish-brown lozenges, each filled with rose-and-stem motifs in pink, ivory, gray, and muted teal. Large ochre blossoms occupy the corners, while floral sprays appear in the lateral reserves. The narrow brown side borders feature teal vines and small polychrome blossoms, framed by a very slender ivory-and-gray surround. Originally woven as a yastik, or cushion cover.
