An early, second quarter mid 20th century English Donegal carpet in the style of Donnemara created by architecturally trained designer C.F.A Voysey whom was influenced by a fusion of the Arts and Craft Movement, Art Nouveau, and William Morris designs. Donnemara is considered one of the earliest "modernist" designs dating back to the late 19th century.
