An antique Persian Northwest Bag Face. Complete with the closure slit panel and loops, this SE Persian nomadic accessory displays the characteristic Afshar horizontal split tendril, rosette and cruciform motif design with geometric ivory cloud band. Rare to find the pattern on navy, it is more common on cream grounded rugs. Boldly drawn. Botehs line up in the rose main border of this completely intact rustic weaving.
