Antique Persian Bag Face Rug

An antique Persian Bag Face rug. From the Atabai or Jafarbai Yomud subtribes in northern Persia, this is a complete set of saddlebags (khurdgins) with pile faces in a repeating geometric pattern, plain weave backs and a bridge with small lozenges in weft float brocade.  The condition is excellent with the braided closure loops intact.  An authentic nomadic artefact from the early 20th century.
