A antique Persian Heriz carpet. The traditional Mina Khani flower head trellis pattern fills the rust madder subfield and, at the same scale, the mustard gold field corners. The pattern is drawn large in a semi-geometric manner. The blue border abrashes from powder to royal. The turtle motif border is suitably rustic in execution. The weave is coarse and robust with a medium long pile of local NW Persian nomadic wool.
