An antique Persian Kurdish runner. The charcoal-navy field of this western Persian Kurdistan rustic kenare (runner) features a folky three-column Herati pattern with color-filled lozenges detailed in straw, cream, teal, and red-brown. Lazy S’s are scattered about near the field edges. There are strings of L-shaped “feet” but no bodies, animal or human. The light blue main border shows colorful floating rosettes.
