In a Baluchi design of triple leaves and quartered octagons on a graphite field, this tribal western Persian Kurdistan near runner has a border of small flowers and leaves never found on a true Baluchi rug. A number of these Kurdish copies of Baluchis are narrow and long runner known and they must have been created to satisfy a demand for Baluchi designs in non-Baluchi formats.
