Antique Persian Lavar Kerman Rug

An antique Persian Lavar Kerman rug. Millefleur patterns are everywhere on this early 20th century Kerman scatter: in the cochineal red pendanted octogramme medallion, the ivory field, the pistachio corners, and in the border.  All the decorative elements are drawn to the same scale. The layout is even, the drawing is careful and there are at least a dozen well-chosen light tones.
