Antique Persian Mahal Oversize Carpet

The light slate ground shows an offset three column Mustafi design of angular coiled acanthus leaves, flattened paired acanthus Vees, rose bouquets and partial leafy wreaths. Rust border with a trapezoidal meander and two types of progressive flower motives. Rustic, west Persian medium-coarse weave on cotton. Surface ribbing from light even wear. Good condition
