An antique Persian Malayer Gallery carpet. Rows and reversing rows of thousands of ragged botehs in tiny, but equal, scale fill the beige lozenge central medallion and en suite triangular corners, as well as the rust hexagonal main field. A Saraband-style angular undulating vine and hanging botehs decorate the sand main border of this west Persian wide kellegi.
