Beneath medium blue corners, the wine red cochineal niche-shaped field is dominated by a full-height navy cypress growing from a schematic vase and polychrome leaf cluster. The field is densely filled with fan flowers, palmettes, stems and rosettes. This characteristic NE Persian city carpet features a navy main border with palmettes and oblique flower sprays and numerous other patterned minors.
