An antique Persian Northwest rug. This somewhat worn small scatter from just south of the Caucasus shows six columns of blue palmettes on a rust field. The pale rose border shows a barbed curvilinear connected ‘Z’ pattern. Say ‘Northwest Persia’ when a firmer attribution is unavailable. End border reduction.
