The abrashed milky camel ground of this hard-to-place Azerbaijani runner (kenare) displays a pole medallion of three boldly stepped and tabbed motifs, and two finial cartouches. The larger elements have serrated edges and large central stars. The narrow main border features a double, crossing faceted meander enclosing botehs in “6” and “9” shapes. An attractive rustic rug from a presently undetermined village.
