Most Mohajerans are dark blue, but the term has been extended to, as here, finely knotted, well drawn Sarouks of the 1920s. The abrashed rose field displays a detached floral spray pattern organized around a royal blue central rosette. The navy undulating vine and rosette border is particularly narrow in this Persian rug. The weave is close and the texture is firm.
