An antique Persian Senneh Bag Face. Although trimmed on the sides, this finely woven Senneh Kurdish saddle cover has a navy ground with a U-shaped opening for the back of the saddle and rose Herati pattern joined corners above and below. Small birds and palmettes decorate the field of this authentic horseman’s artefact. The yellow border with an abstract flower and leaf design remains on the ends.
